HI, I'M ANG
I'm a qualified Fitness Coach, BJJ Brown Belt and Self-Defence Instructor based in Guildford. I specialise in strength training, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and real-world self-defence — and I work with women of all ages and all starting points, including women who've felt out of place in traditional gym environments and neurodivergent women.
I'm passionate, personable and I genuinely care about every single person I work with. My sessions are no-pressure, no-judgement and built around you — because I believe every woman deserves to feel strong and confident, whatever her age or ability. Practical self-defence seminars built on years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA and wrestling training — designed to give every woman, regardless of size, strength or experience, genuine tools she can actually use.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most effective self-defence arts in the world — built on a simple principle: a smaller, lighter person can overcome a bigger, stronger one through technique.
You'll learn to defend from standing and the ground — how to reach a controlling position, apply a choke or joint lock, and escape when things go wrong. Every technique is drilled with repetition so it becomes second nature.
Think of your personal safety like a toolbox — you wouldn't want it to contain only one tool. A rape alarm may alert others that you're in danger, but what if nobody is close enough to hear it? Knowing self-defence gives you options that work even when nothing else does.

Yoga-inspired stretching and recovery sessions designed to complement your training — whether that's fitness, BJJ or just everyday life.
I'm qualified in Yoga4BJJ and have been incorporating stretching and mobility work into my coaching for years. It's not about being bendy or achieving perfect poses — it's about moving better, recovering faster and feeling good in your body.
